Grand Chancellor Brian Hoffman

Bryan Hoffman is Member of King Solomon Utopia Lodge #400; he currently serves as its Treasurer and served as Chancellor Commander from 2018-2020. He is his lodge's Membership/Retention Chairman and an officer of King Solomon Triangle and Crossbay-Utopia Benevolent Associations. Active in the Dramatic Order, Knights of Khorassan, Bryan is an officer of Salaam Temple #145. He served as a Deputy Grand Chancellor from the 2nd District from 2019-2021.
Bryan was born in Brooklyn and moved to Rockaway Park, Queens as a youngster, where he completed public school. He studied Oceanography at Beach Channel HS; he lettered on the wrestling team, served as Editor and photo editor of the school newspaper. Bryan earned an Engineering degree at SUNY Farmingdale. He worked for MTA NYC Transit as Bus mechanic and earned promotions to foreman and then Superintendent. Bryan currently manages approximately 5.5 million dollars in maintenance material and supplies across two MTA bus depots.
In his 20s after meeting someone who helped so many and gave so much of himself to others, Bryan started his volunteerism. Since then he has volunteered with many organizations and continues to do so. He felt “plugged in” in a way he never had before. Volunteering and charitable works came very natural to Bryan. Bryan has been blessed with a wonderful family that supports his charitable works. He finds it very rewarding to help others.
Joining the Pythian Order was just a natural progression into his charitable works.
Bryan is married for over 31 years to Theresa who is a NYC schoolteacher and have 2 wonderful children.
Bryan is looking forward to working with the rest of the Grand Lodge as well as the subordinate lodges to increase membership. Bryan in determined to help keep the Order strong and going for many years to come.

Grand Vice Chancellor Brian Klasewitz
 

Brian joined Canarsie Lodge #636 in April 1982 and transferred to Excelsior now Majestic Lodge #109 in June 2001. He served as Deputy Grand Chancellor for the 46th District for Grand Chancellor Randy Silverman from 2019 through 2021. In Majestic Lodge Brian serves as its Treasurer, President of the Moe Cohen Charitable Foundation, an officer of the Jerry Alpert Memorial Scholarship Fund and a director for the Benevolent Association. He serves on the Lodge's Budget & Finance, Collation, Membership, Entertainment, Subsidy and Sports Committees. He is an additional member of Harmony Lodge #709 (2nd District), Criers Lodge #651 (2nd District), Esquire Goodfellowship Lodge #635 (2nd District), Genesis Lodge #64 (46th District) & FDR Lodge #613 (46th District).
Brian was born and raised in Brooklyn, now residing in Marine Park. He is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School and later earned a degree in Finance from Brooklyn College.
He worked for Paine Webber and UBS for 35 years managing areas in Accounts Payable, Compensation, Finance and Payroll. Brian currently manages the Payroll Accounting Team for Panasonic Inc. He is active with New York Road Runners (NYRR) as both a participant and volunteer leader. Brian is a photographer and has had some of his pictures published.
Brian is married to Barbara for over 35 years and their daughter, Lauren, a NYC music teacher, married Brian Kurtz in July 2021.

 

Grand Prelate Craig Kligfeld

 

Craig is a lifetime resident of Brooklyn, currently in Bensonhurst. He graduated from Edward R. Murrow High School in 1984 and attended both Kingsborough Community College and New York City Technical College, Hotel & Restaurant Management.
In 1988 Craig joined the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection and after 32 years of service retired in 2020. Craig became involved with the Challenger Program in 1991, which Is designed for individuals, teen to adult, with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Prior to that he volunteered with the New York City Marathon and the Bike New York events. In 2012 Craig joined the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), a part of the New York City Office of Emergency Management. CERT is a community-based group of volunteers trained in disaster preparedness 

Grand Master at Arms Paul Barth

 

Since returning to the order in 2015 Paul has been very active in his home lodge. He immediately began to move up the chairs to become Chancellor Command for the 2018-19 year. He has participated in shake-a-can drives in Brooklyn for Diabetes Research. On the lodge level Paul is currently Collation Chairperson and Treasurer of the Genesis Welfare Association. He is Editor of the Voice of Genesis and a Director of Alpha Genesis Sunshine fund.
